We give each product two codes.

.1 A collection number featured on a shiny plate on the t-shirt and on the owners certificate.

.2 A Security number, revealed behind a scratch panel on the owners certificate. (this can be revealed by the new owner, once they are happy with the product)

Enter both of these numbers into our online registration system. Combined, these numbers will authenticate the t-shirt and prove that the item is a genuine DNA product.

[accordion-item title=”Tell me more about your Compostable packaging”]

Materials are either 100% biodegradable or they are not. Terms like ‘biodegradable’ and ‘part-biodegradable’ are a little missleading, as these products will leave behind materials that don’t break down in a natural environment. Some plastics that have seemingly been broken down are leaving tiny microplastics in our oceans and environment.

Our delivery bags are 100% compostable and conform to the European EN 13432: 2000 standard. This means that it will harmlessly decompose in compostable environments, ready to be safely used as soil composte.

The Europen stand applies to industrial composting and home composting may take longer and can not be certified in the same way.

[accordion-item title=”Why would I sell my T-shirt to someone else?”]

Our T-shirts are collectable and made in limited quantities.

Once they’re gone . . . they’re gone.  Your only chance of getting a design that you want is to hope that a collector will sell one.

Some owners are buying them as collectables and not even wearing them, with the intention of selling when the demand increases.

Some people do actually wear them (thank you!) but can’t resist an offer to sell to other collectors.

[accordion-item title=”What is ‘status change’?”]

If you have registered an item in your name, the default ownership status is ‘Registered‘, and that is initially displayed in the owners gallery.

It will say something like:

Username/Alias   –  T-shirt description  –  Collection number  –  Registered

However, you can login to your profile and change the status of your T-shirt to any of these:

Missing – This means you don’t know where it is.    So, let’s say that someone finds it and wears it as theirs. They can’t prove to anyone that they own it as you still have it registered to you in the online owners gallery and you’ve even declared it missing & want it back.

Worn out – You’ve loved & worn it sooo much but you’ve now had to retire it. As you’re so proud of your DNA in it’s memory you’ve kept the registration in your name.

For Sale – You’ve decided to sell it. Other logged in members can send you a message expressing their interest in buying it.  You make your own purchase agreements with each other.  *

*  = Once both parties are happy with the transaction, the previous owner can transfer ownership to the new owner.  This is done in the members admin area.  (Ideal for collectors)

Refunds and returns. DNA products are produced in limited quantities, individually identifiable, and custom made for you. As such, custom made items are none returnable. Refunds or replacements will only be accepted if the item is faulty, and can only be considered if:

When returning an item, everything that was included with the original purchase must be returned as well.

Returning the item is at your expense and will be refunded if we find the item to be faulty. At that point a replacement or refund will also be issued.
